BIG Cinemas, part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group and India's leading entertainment conglomerate Adlabs Films, announced the opening of its first cinema in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Many Tamil movie stars of yesteryears had either begun their film career or spent their early days in these studios. Big Cinemas said, the previously known KG Cinema has been renovated and turned into an architectural and technically sound KG Big Cinemas within three months.
